The growing popularity of NFT is unstoppable in that it transforms the way people think about digital creative work. Enthusiasts, collectors, and stockholders are going down the NFT rabbit hole. It's not unusual to find the news about celebrity NFT purchases hitting the headlines.

More and more celebrities are either tokenizing their works or collecting other creators’ projects, and they seem to be in this verse to stay. The following are some of the well-known stars who happen to be active members of the non-fungible token community.

1. Paris Hilton

The socialite was warmly welcomed into this virtual community for all her endeavors. Also, she keeps playing an active part in promoting these non-fungible tokens.

2. Shaquille O'Neal

It seems as though no one can escape from the charm of NFT, not even the former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal. Shaq updated his Twitter avatar with one of the Creature World’s NFTs. It led to speculation that he, too, joined the bandwagon, which later became more apparent right after Shaq joined the Creature World Discord and built an engagement with the members.

3. Snoop Dogg

4. Grimes

Grimes has been in the NFT industry since the beginning of 2021. She is one of the earliest musicians in blockchain tech, even long before the Beeple’s works sparked widespread attention in NFT. While these days she isn’t particularly active promoting NFT on her Twitter, her influence on the community remains the same, with her projects still being traded regularly.

5. Lindsay Lohan

CEO Akash Nigam, the musician, earned somewhere around $1 million through his digital products in just 10 minutes.

She later photoed herself in front of the hyperrealistic piece of art where its digital image file sold as an NFT for approximately $140,000.

The wealthiest person in the world, based on the  Forbes Billionaires List 2022, is a pivotal figure in the crypto-verse. It's something undeniable because, to a lesser degree, he also jumped into the NFT craze.

Before joining the NFT community, his tweets alone about cryptocurrency have been proven to be influential to the price of Bitcoin. So, it's not surprising knowing his discussion about the non-fungible environment quickly becomes a major topic among NFT buffs.

10. Timbaland

Timbaland is widely known as a genius music producer whose hits never fail to enter the 20 Biggest Billboard Hits. So, it's hardly surprising knowing his approach to the NFT world was a huge success.

The community welcomed him with open arms after putting his money on one of the Bored Ape’s pieces. He always maintains a positive engagement with the rest of the non-fungible token community. This endeavor put him in a good place when he dropped his own NFT project called "Opera Noir."

11. Ja Rule

It has evolved into a significant element of his internet presence since the beginning of 2021. Not much different from other stars in the NFT space, Ja Rule also regularly shows his active engagement with the NFT community on Twitter. He frequently promoted his investments in some popular NFTs, like the Gutter Cat Gang.

12. Stephen Curry

The point guard of the Golden State Warrior, Stephen Curry, is one of the first active NBA players who joined the non-fungible world. Even his announcement of the purchase of the Bored Ape Yacht Club was regarded as one of the most impactful NFT events in 2021.

What makes his approach to the NFT exciting to many is that he didn’t openly publicize his buy. He even barely shows an active engagement in the community. However, changing his Twitter PFP with an Ape was more than enough to promote BAYC, crypto-verse, and of course, the greater community of NFT.

Aside from the 12 celebrities above, more stars have developed a slight interest in the non-fungible community but have yet to commit to joining the craze fully. Some are professional skater Tony Hawk, supermodel Cara Delivengne, rapper Lil Uzi Vert, Kings of Leon, and many more.
